Interior Warranty
If your paint color requires more than 2 coats of paint, there will be an additional charge for a third or fourth coat of paint.
If customer changes original paint color and wants a new color after painting has ensured, there will be additional charges that apply for both materials and labor.
If there is wallpaper removal involved in your project, we are not responsible for the condition of the walls under the wallpaper. If there is extensive damage, there may be additional labor charges for preparation of walls.
If we oil prime wallpaper, we are not responsible for the wallpaper lifting, wrinkling or bubbles later.
Top Shelf will provide a 3-year limited warranty on all interior painting projects. This warranty is non-transferable and will only apply to contracted customer.
If customer is advised to upgrade due to color selection and declines, there is no warranty or guarantee against color fading, or slight color variance.
This warranty will cover labor and materials to repair any workmanship imperfections in accordance with work order. Only the specific areas that have issues will be repaired in accordance with original work order.
Top Shelf cannot warranty any re-emergence of cracks or expansion in wood, drywall, or plaster. Cracks will be properly repaired as indicated at the time of the job, but re-emergence of such cracks in and/or cracks caused by expansion, settlement, movement, or contraction are not covered in this warranty. Caulking is not covered under this warranty.
Top Shelf cannot warranty any stress cracks or nail pops.
Furniture should be moved to center of room. If you need help with moving normal, standard items i.e. couch, tables, chairs etc. Top Shelf will assist you with this. Heavy furniture that you would like moved outside of room to be painted or in different areas may incur an additional charge. All appliances shall be moved by the homeowner if painting behind is required. Top Shelf will not be responsible for any damaged caused by moving stoves, refrigerators, blinds, window treatments, island etc.
Top Shelf will do their best to cover all contents in the rooms that they are working in. Any valuables or breakables should be removed prior to any work being started. Top Shelf will not be responsible for any damage caused due to breakable items or furniture left in or around work areas. Top Shelf is not responsible for any damage caused by taping or prepping areas, including stained finishes, floors, fans, borders, wallpaper, cabinets etc.
