Our cabinet refacing process includes the following:
Bases
Step 1: Prep
Cover flooring and surfaces in all areas the crew will be working in.
Step 2: Removal
Removal all door and drawer fronts, cover openings of doors & drawer fronts, clean surface and lightly scuff base cabinets.
Step 3: Prime
Apply 1 coat of primer to all base cabinets.
Step 4: Coat
Apply 2 coatings of topcoat to all base cabinets.
Step 5: Clean-up
Remove all paper, coverings, and debris from work area.
Door and Drawers
Step 1: Clean
Clean all door & drawer fronts to remove all debris and contaminates.
Step 2: Sand
Sand down all door & drawer fronts to ensure adhesion and a smooth surface.
Step 3: Prime
Apply 1 coat of primer to all door & drawer fronts.
Step 4: Sand
Re-sand all door & drawer fronts to ensure a smooth surface.
Step 5: Prime
Apply an additional coat of primer to all door & drawer fronts.
Step 6: Coat
Apply 2 coatings of topcoat to all door & drawer fronts
